Wintrace 10.7 and UQ with Windows 11

This document provides provides field implementation package and instruction for upgrading existing QTX systems to Windows 11.
With Windows 10 now end-of-support, all field systems must transition to Windows 11 following the process below to ensure proper UniQuant (UQ) functionality.
Field Upgrade Procedure
For field upgrades, the required files can be downloaded from the Knowledge Base (KB).

Install WordPad

WordPad is required for correct UQ operation on Windows 11.

Use the script “UniQuant Windows 11 – WordPad installation.”

Run the file install_wordpad.bat as Administrator.

This step must be completed before launching UQ.

Apply the Gemalto Update

Download and apply the Gemalto update package

This update ensures secure communication and proper licensing under Windows 11.
