To resolve issues with a squeaky or noisy syringe movement in U3000 WPS and WPS-3000 AS-AP Autosamplers, obtain the Thermo Fisher Lubrication kit (PN 6820.0045) containing special grease. Ensure the autosampler is idle, remove the syringe, and apply the grease thinly to the lead screw and vertical guide rod. Manually prime the syringe multiple times to distribute the grease. Repeat as necessary until the noise stops, then replace the syringe.
