Install the iConnect™ Column Lock by putting the GC in standby, cooling the oven and injector, and turning off the carrier gas. Remove the standard bottom column connection nut and use an offset wrench to remove the column nut. Install the iConnect nut and slide the column through it. Set the column length according to the injector or detector type. Turn the iConnect Column Lock a quarter turn until it stops. Use appropriate Graphite/Vespel® ferrules for the column.
