1) Add an isotope for each element you want in the scan

2) Create a standard containing elements across the mass range.

3) For elements in the standard, set the use for SemiQuant setting to yes.  For all other elements, set this to no.

4)  Generate a sample list containing a calibration blank, tune/calibration solution and samples for analysis.  It is also suggested to perform a survey scan with this analysis, to add additional data to the analysis

5) The default RSF factors are all set to 1 in Qtegra, which provides very poor accuracy data.  They can be changed in the elements tab of Configurator, select the element to update the RSF.  To measure your own initially leave the value as 1, produce a standard with 1 ppb of all elements and analyze it with the SemiQuant method. The result for that element is its RSF. i.e. for an As result of 0.016 ppb, insert 0.016 as the RSF for As.

6) If the concentrations for the survey scan need to be changed use the customized trace within Quantification.
