EPU not start up after upgraded

Issue

EPU can't start up after upgrade , Versions 2.4 is working normal and version 2.5. 2.6 and 2.6.1 with error.

These are possible resolutions for the issue:

  • Delete roaming folder in supervisor account

Cause

These are possible causes for the issue:

  • Roaming folder in supervisor account

Details

  1. Reinstall the TEM Server , issue not fixed.
  2. Rename in C:\ProgramData\Thermo Scientific EPU\Configuration: file : "Omp.config" remame to "Omp.config.BUG", and restart EPU. Not working.
  3. Uninstall EPU in supervisor. Go to directory users\app data\roaming\ EPU, rename MC settings file . Not help.
  4. Check C++ distribute version and dump the EPU process by task manager, not work.
  5. Check install and start in service account, worked at service account. Login as supervisor, not work.
  6. Delete content of roaming folder in supervisor, issue gone.
