  • HT tank defect

Details

Power cycled HT tank, does not help.

Measured bleeder resistor (HT tank test pins X241 vs. X242).
Measured measuring resistor (HT tank test pins X104 vs. X106).

Bleeder and measuring resistor for 300 kV tank should give 1.3V.
From HT 237 kV, the voltages measured on the bleeding and measuring resistors becomes unstable. At the same time, the HT level becomes unstable.

HT tank is deemed defective (problem inside HT tank).
Problem solved after replace tank.

HT raises to 280 kV, then drops to 60 kV and then jumps between 120~280 kV.
