Notice announces discontinuation of D2706 Low Pressure Pump Protector for Thermo Scientific Thermo Barnstead E‑Pure Water Purification System effective February 26, 2026. The optional accessory monitored inadequate feed water in pressurized lines for all E‑Pure SKUs. No alternate SKU is available and all existing orders are canceled. Communication targets customers and channel partners about end‑of‑supply and product unavailability.

Description: 

The attached letter announces that optional accessory D2706 is no longer available. This accessory was designed to protect the E-pure pump by shutting off power to the pump if feedwater pressure is lost. No replacement is available. To continue operating an existing E-Pure system without the D2706, the pump interlock jumper plug must be plugged into the receptacle on the left side of pump cabinet. If the  pump interlock jumper plug is lost a replacement can be purchased using Part Number 04247. MAR number for this accessory was 7160
