Description:
Specular reflectance Fourier transform infrared measurements allow thin coating slayers on reflective surfaces to be analyzed with little or no sample preparation 1-5. This technique is used mainly for samples such as lubricating or polymeric coatings on reflective substrates but can also be used successfully for many matte-surfaced samples such as paper or cloth products.
