AN 51114 - Improving the Accuracy of Near-infrared Measurements Using Spectral Corrections, Back-reflection and Transfer Backgrounds
Description:
Mid-infrared spectroscopists use spectral corrections on a daily basis to increase the accuracy of already highly-tuned techniques for component prediction. These include corrections for atmospheric water, CO2, and attenuated totalreflection (ATR). In the case of the ATR correction, differential absorptions arising from ATR crystal effects are scaledacross the frequency range to improve the accuracy of an already-accepted and robust technique.
Environment:
- FT-NIR
- Antaris
