Indicators and buttons
The status indicators for the instrument are located on the touch panel, which is on the main cover of the instrument. This panel also has buttons that allow you to operate the instrument.

- Humidity indicator. The humidity indicator changes color when the humidity inside the spectrometer exceeds 60% RH. For precise and accurate humidity levels, refer to the System Status table in OMNIC Paradigm software.
- Power button. Indicates if the instrument is off or on.
- Blue Touch Point button. Used to confirm actions and answer prompts instead of doing so manually in OMNIC Paradigm software, such as acquiring a background spectrum or measuring the current sample installed in the sample compartment.
