Installing baseplate-mounted accessories

To install the standard sample compartment baseplate (or an accessory mounted on that baseplate) make sure the sample compartment extension kit is installed, then orient the baseplate with the finger hole toward the front and lower the baseplate into the sample compartment. The baseplate fits over several alignment pins, which hold it in place. The sample compartment’s position is mounted with two alignment pins and held in place with magnets and four screws.
