Installing slide-mounted accessories

The standard sample holder can accommodate slide-mounting accessories (such as a variable angle ATR) as well as thin film samples and optical filters. To install a slide-mounting sample or accessory, slide the sample or accessory into one pair of slots in the standard sample holder. Alternatively, if you have the Smart OMNI-Transmission accessory, it can be used to measure slide-mounting samples and install most slide-mounting accessories.

Use the adjustment screw to position the sample vertically so that it is roughly centered in the infrared beam.
