Description:
Connect the DC Power Cable
To supply power to the spectrometer, connect the DC power plug to the DC Power port on the back of the instrument.
- Locate the DC Power port on the rear panel of the spectrometer (see figure below).
- Identify the correct orientation of the DC plug.
- Both the plug and the connector have a D-shaped design with one flat side.
- Align the flat side of the plug with the flat side of the connector.
- Gently insert the plug straight into the port until it is fully seated. Do not force the connection.
| The arrow on the power plug indicates the direction of energy flow—it points toward the instrument, showing that power flows from the adapter into the spectrometer. The arrow does not indicate the "up" direction of the plug. |
- Once the plug is properly connected, ensure that it fits securely before turning on the power.
