The OMNIC Specta program uses the Thermo Scientific Indexer Program to designate where the libraries are located.

In the notifications area of the Windows Taskbar, click the icon (^) to show hidden icons.

Right-click on the Thermo Scientific Indexer program icon (gray box with three red squares) , and choose Configuration.

On the Configuration Tab check which folders are listed in the box of directories that are indexed and monitored.  If the missing libraries are located in a different folder, use the Add button to add other directories to the list of folders.

After adding the new folders, select the Status tab at the top of the window.

If the Process Control selector has the "Pause" option selected, click the “Run” option.

Next, click the Rebuild Index button.

Once done the “State” will go to "Monitor".

Close the Thermo Scientific Indexer with the X button in the upper right-hand corner.

Open OMNIC Specta and verify the libraries are now listed.
