Resolved Issues

Upgrading from 1.3 to 1.4 failed to install all necessary files

Upgrading from Audit Log Service 1.3 to Audit Log Service 1.4 correctly attempted to downgrade several third-party DLLs; Windows Installer prohibited this move, resulting in the files not being present on the computer.

Known Issues

Security server name not read properly on OMNIC Paradigm systems

On Summit instruments and OMNIC Paradigm workstation installations, the security server name could fail to be picked up properly by Audit Manager resulting in an inability to review the audit log. Running ChangeServer and clicking OK is the workaround for this.

Resolved Issues

Deleting a measurement now logs an audit event and requires a reason

Previously, deleting a measurement in OMNIC Paradigm software did not require the user to enter a reason. Now, a reason is required, and the reason is logged as an event in Audit Manager.

Audit Manager no longer displays Unknown Account

If the event could not detect a Windows domain account, the account was displayed as unknown account. Now, the audit event captures the user currently signed into Windows.
