ValPro not listing the correct tests to run

Issue

In the ValPro software the dropdown menu item to list the tests to be run defaults to the iN5 microscope or is blank after opening the program even though the tests are chosen in the options tab of the software.

Environment

  • OMNIC Software
  • ValPro Software

Resolution

  • This problem has a security suite software installation with a type 2 distribution.
  • When one opens Valpro the list of test are not displaying the correct tests selected in the options menu item. the problem was with the Security Administration sever.
  • The server was updated with Microsoft updates and right after that this ValPro issue occurred.
  • In order to correct the problem, we had to restart the Security Administration Service on the server.
  • In the Security Administration program on the server make sure the domain was listed.
  • On the client PC we had to use the change server program to point to the server and establish that commutations are successful.
