Powering Up Thermo UV Instruments

The powering on and powering off procedure for most UV/VIS instrument is as simple as turning on the power switch and waiting a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes for warm up when powering on. When powering off you want to make sure you have saved any pertinent data and then just switch the power off.

The only other difference is if your instrument is connected to an external computer communicating via a software package. If your instrument is connected to a software package, make sure to save data and turn off the software first and then power your instrument off.
