Flame on and off buttons are off or not blinking

In the iCE 3300 and iCE 3500 environments, after replacing the control board, the flame on and off buttons may not be functioning, and the flame may not be able to be ignited. This issue is due to the link LK6 on the control board being incorrectly positioned between pins 2 and 3. To resolve this, reposition the link to connect pins 1 and 2. After making this adjustment, verify that the flame on and off buttons work properly and that the flame ignites correctly.

Issue

After replacing the control board, the flame on and off buttons are not on or flashing and it is not possible to light the flame.

Environment

  • iCE 3300
  • iCE 3500

Resolution

Check on the control board the position of contact for link LK6 if you find it between pin 2 and pin 3 (see figure 1) it is in the wrong position; connect between pin 1 and pin 2 (see figure 2).

After this change, verify flame on and off button are working as expected and flame ignites correctly.
