MD132- Operation cannot start unless the correct lamp is fitted
When operating the iCE 3300, 3400, 3500 products, when starting a run, if this error appears: "MD132- Operation cannot start unless the correct lamp is fitted", no lamp in the menu matches the selected analyte. When this happens, ensure the correct method is loaded. Verify that the coded HCL is reading correctly or that the uncoded lamp is manually labeled in the correct carousel position. Run Setup Optics, then proceed with your run.

Resolution
This error occurs when there is no lamp in the lamp menu that matches the analyte selected in the method.
- Make sure the correct method for your analysis is loaded
- Check the lamp menu and make sure that either the coded HCL is reading correctly, or if the lamp is uncoded that it has been manually labeled in the correct position in the lamp carousel.
