Loss of intensities for Axial and Radial View

Issue

Intensities of wavelength (Y370 in this case) monitored in both axial and radial view decreased by an order of magnitude or more in both views.

Environment

  • iCAP 6000 Series
  • iCAP 7000 Series

Resolution

1) Perform Torch Alignment using 2ppm Zn solution such as Load Blank solution

2) Perform Autopeak adjust on affect wavelength(s)

3) Optimize number of center pixels using one of the knowledge articles below depending on whic software is being utlilized:

Analysis

Y224 was also being monitored in axial view but did no suffer a loss of sensitivity.

Y370 may have been affected in this example but the principle would apply to any wavelength that has suffered a loss of sensitivity when others have not.
