Resolution:

(NOTE: Ensure both computers have compatible versions of Qtegra installed. Verify that the destination computer has the necessary permissions to access and modify the LabBook files.)

  1. Locate the LabBook File:
    • The LabBook files are typically stored in the following file pathway: C:\ProgramData\Thermo\Qtegra\_Application Data\Workspace\LabBooks.
  2. Copy the LabBook File:
    • Navigate to the file pathway mentioned above on the source computer.
    • Copy the LabBook file (with the extension .imexp) to an external storage device or a network location accessible from the destination computer.
  3. Transfer the LabBook File:
    • Connect the external storage device to the destination computer or access the network location where the LabBook file was copied.
  4. Paste the LabBook File:
    • Paste the LabBook file into the same file pathway on the destination computer: C:\ProgramData\Thermo\Qtegra\_Application Data\Workspace\LabBooks.
  5. Open the LabBook in Qtegra:
    • Open Qtegra on the destination computer.
    • In the left-hand panel, select File Manager.
    • Right-click on Lab Books and select "Import".
    • Use the file manager to locate and select the LabBook file you transferred.
    • The LabBook should now be visible and ready to use in Qtegra.
