Semi Quant Feature Does Not Function When Using Templates Created Before Qtegra ISDS 2.18 FR1

Semi Quant analyses may not display data in the LabBook when using templates created in Qtegra ISDS versions earlier than 2.18 FR1. To resolve the issue, create a new LabBook from a blank template in Qtegra ISDS 2.18 FR1 or later, verify that Semi Quant functions correctly, and then save the LabBook as a new template for future use.

Issue

When running a Semi Quant analysis, the LabBook displays no data in the Semi Quant section.

Environment

  • Instrument: iCAP PRO
  • Software: Qtegra ISDS 2.18 FR1 or later
  • Feature: Semi Quant
  • Condition: Template was originally created in a Qtegra ISDS version earlier than 2.18 FR1

Resolution

1. Create a new LabBook using a blank template in Qtegra ISDS 2.18 FR1 or later.

2. Configure the required experiments, methods, and settings in the new LabBook.

3. Run a Semi Quant analysis and verify that data is populated in the Semi Quant section of the LabBook.

4. Confirm that the Semi Quant feature functions correctly in the new LabBook.

5. Save the working LabBook as a new template.

6. Use the newly created template for future Semi Quant analyses instead of templates created before Qtegra ISDS 2.18 FR1.

Cause

Templates created in Qtegra ISDS versions earlier than 2.18 FR1 are not fully compatible with the Semi Quant functionality used in 2.18 FR1 and later, which prevents data from appearing in the Semi Quant section of the LabBook.
