iTEVA will not initialize, Qtegra will, iCAP 7000 common

Issue

iTEVA won't initialize with the iCAP, but Qtegra will

Environment

• iCAP 6000 series
• iCAP 7000 series
• iTEVA
• Qtegra

Resolution

1. Make sure iTEVA is closed
2. Open Qtegra
3. Set Qtegra configuration to one that does not contain an instrument, most likely named "Empty" or "Blank"
4. Close Qtegra
5. Open iTEVA
6. Instrument initialization should occur
7. If the instrument will still not initialize:
   1. Close iTEVA
   2. Stop Qtegra Services
   3. Re-open iTEVA
