Issue

The Cetac 560 Autosampler requires firmware installation to function correctly.

Environment

  • Cetac 560 Autosampler

Resolution

  1. Open the Cetac Console.
  2. Navigate to the "Firmware" section. Select the appropriate firmware from the list:
    1. For newer boards, use cetac therm v3.0.
    2. For older boards, use cetac therm v2.1.
  3. Type in the serial number (SN) of the instrument.
  4. Install the selected firmware.
  5. Verify that the autosampler is displayed with the correct name.
  6. Assign the COM port to the autosampler..
