Display Panel Replacement
Issue
The Thermoflex chiller displays an Error 41 causing the chiller to stop.
Environment

Resolution
Remove all power by toggling the rocker switch on the back panel to the off position and unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet
Use proper ESD (Electro Static Discharge) procedures when handling the control board and display panel. Typically a grounded wrist strap is used to ground the individual so static discharge is released prior to and during handling.
Tools Required:
Small Phillips Head Screwdriver
5/16" Socket
1) Remove the Side Panels.
a) Use a Philips head screwdriver to remove the eleven #6-32 x 1/4" screws indicated in the illustrations below.
b) Slide the right panel back approximately one inch, then lift slightly from the rear to disengage the panel's two tabs from their slots.
c) Then remove the left side
2) Disconnect the cable from the HMI
2. Remove the front panel by removing the four counter sunk screws that hold it on (two on each side).
3. Remove the two screws on top and two screws on the bottom that are holding the plastic bezel to the metal front.
4. Remove the grounding nut and remove the ribbon cable ground. Note the orientation of the ribbon cable in order to ensure it does not get twisted when installing the replacement board
5. Remove the four screws, one on each corner, holding the control board to the plastic.
