Issue

LabBooks are becoming corrupted at a frequency of ~25%. This applies to eQuant, tQuant and trQuant analysis

Environment

  • iCAP Qnova Series
  • iCAP Pro Series
  • iCAP 7000 Series

Reinstalled Windows 10 and in the process updated to a later version for Windows 10. Computer was originally on version 2016 and updated to version 22H2.

Analysis

No message were being displayed in the Private Queues. This is not correct because when using Qtegra, messages in reference to the Qtegra services should be populated here.

To check Private Queues, do the following:

1) Right-click on the Windows icon and click Computer Management

2) Click on the arrow (>) next to Services and Applications to expand the menu

Expand Services and Applications.png

3) Click on the arrow (>) next to Message Queuing to expand the menu

Expand Message Queuing.png

4) Click on Private Queues.

Messages pertaining to the Qtegra services should be displayed (see image below) and no messages should be waiting in the queue (Number of Messages columns should be '0'). If no messages are displayed, this could be a situation where Windows may need to be reinstalled.
