Output Sample Results in Different Units Than Defined Standards

This article explains how to configure sample results to display in a different unit than the units defined for standards in Qtegra. Use the Add Customized Trace option within Quantification to assign alternate reporting units for one or multiple analytes.

Issue

Sample results need to display in units different from the configured standard units in Qtegra.

Environment

  • iCAP Qnova Series
  • iCAP 7000 Series
  • iCAP PRO Series

Resolution

Add a Customized Trace

  1. Click Quantification.
  2. Right-click the analyte row and select Add customized trace.

  3. To modify multiple analytes simultaneously, hold Ctrl while selecting analytes, then right-click and select Add customized trace.
  4. From the Unit dropdown menu, select the desired reporting unit.

  5. Verify the displayed sample results update to the selected unit.
