Figure 1: Dell Support Homepage
2. Input Service Tag number. This number will be located on your computer.
3. Select SEARCH.
4. Select 'Drivers & Downloads' located in the center of your screen below your computer model details.
5. Locate the "Manually find a specific driver for your computer" and click on FIND DRIVERS.
6. Select "Show downloads for only THIS PC..."
NOTE: Do not use the "Let Dell automatically find driver updates for you" option.
6. A comprehensive list of all available uploads will appear.
7. Select the ACTION you wish to proceed with by clicking on DOWNLOAD.
8. Recommendations on how to update/download:
- Download all files onto local Hard drive in a Sub-Folder.
- Extract all files into individual folders, do not run it from a compressed file(s).
- Update latest BIOS.
- Check BIOS settings according to the latest published PSB.
- Continue with the mainboard related drivers.
- Start with Chipset driver.
- Only one driver at a time.
- Restart computer.
