Suppressor System Backpressure is Greater than 450psi

Issue: 

Suppressor is leaking while the system backpressure is greater than 450psi. 

Environment: 

• DRS 600
• ERS 500e
• AERS 500 Carbonate 

Resolution: 

1. Locate and eliminate the source of the pressure.
2. Stand approximately 20 minutes with the membranes fully hydrated.
3. If the suppressor continues to leak when operated within the proper back pressure range, it must be replaced.

Cause: 

Excessive back pressure downstream from the suppressor.
