How to remove water with condensate pump

To remove water from a Forma 3940 or Forma 3911 environmental chamber when a floor drain is not available, a condensate pump should be used. An evaporator pan may not be sufficient due to cabinet and ambient conditions. Refer to the attachment for detailed instructions on installing a condensate pump.

Issue

My customer does not have a floor drain near their 3940 environmental chamber, what can they do to remove the water the 3940 will make?

Environment

  • Forma 3940
  • Forma 3911

Resolution

A condensate pump would need to be used. An evaporator pan may not be sufficient to remove all the water based on cabinet and ambient conditions. See attachment for information on installing a condensate pump.
