Water Purification Systems - General Shutdown Procedure
To shut down a ThermoScientific water purification system, turn off water supply, unplug power, drain the storage tank, and discard cartridges. For systems with reverse osmosis, leave membranes in place. For distillation systems, drain, dry, and disconnect power. To restart, reconnect water and power, install new cartridges, and follow cleaning instructions. For long-term shutdown, ensure safety measures or fully shut down. Preserve recently installed deionization cartridges by refrigeration.
