Connecting the microscope to your spectrometer

The microscope can be physically connected to your spectrometer by a Thermo Fisher representative. Configuration options are decided at the time of purchase and depend on both the instrument and the type of microscope. For more information, contact us.

• Start OMNIC Paradigm software. If the software is not connected to the instrument, connect by going to Configure > Connectivity and selecting the spectrometer.
• Go to Configure > Sample Location > Right Microscope. This changes the sample location and takes you to the microscopy view. At this point, the instrument status displays the name of the spectrometer followed by the name of your microscope and a green checkmark.
