New Features

Macro Shows Only File Name in Spreadsheet

The directory path for macro files is no longer displayed in the Macro column cells; only the file name. The directory path is saved, however, in a hidden cell associated with each macro. Each macro may have its own unique path.

This change means that existing .RAS files from 1.0 cannot be opened in 2.0. You must recreate them in 2.0.

Macro File Selection Defaults to OMNIC Macro Directory

When you click the Browse button to select a macro, the File Open dialog is displayed pointing to the directory where the macro is located. If the macro cell is blank, the File Open dialog opens in the directory which was last used to select a macro. If the application has just been started and this is the first macro selection, the dialog opens pointing to the macro directory path specified in OMNIC.

Resolved Issues

Stopping a Macro Does Not Stop the Autosampler

The application has been changed so that stopping a macro before it is finished will also stop the autosampler.

Raman Autosampler Loses Track of Position When Experiment Setup Task is Run

OMNIC Macros\Basic has been changed so that the Experiment Setup task no longer repositions the Raman motorized stage. This was causing the Raman autosampler to lose track of its position.

Fill Series Fails for Single Digit Values

A bug in Fill Series has been fixed so that it now works correctly with single digits.

Adding Columns to the Spreadsheet Causes Fatal Error

A bug with adding columns to the spreadsheet then trying to resize the added column has been fixed. It no longer causes a fatal error.

Sample Wheel Position Could Become Inaccurate After Repeated Runs

The application has been changed so that the wheel is driven against the hard stop prior to beginning each run. This can be quite annoying but it is the only way to guarantee that the wheel is in known position during the run.

Known Issues

None
