RPG Reports 3.x - Fixing Screen Display Issues When Viewing on High Resolution Screens
Issue
It can be that after installing RPG Reports on a new PC with 2/4K screen resolution, RPG Reports will not appear correctly with compressed or very large graphics which are not seen with other programs. This can be from the DPI settings on the PC. It is possible to set these on an application basis to use the Enhanced System settings.

In order to change the UI view back to normal view as expected, follow the steps described below:
- Open the properties via right click on the RPG Reports icon (not shortcut) with the cursor.
- Go to “Compatibility” and there go to “Change settings for all users”

Go to “change high DPI settings”

Uncheck the boxing the “Program DPI” & select the “High DPI scaling override” checkbox and change the High DPI scaling override option from “Application” to “System (Enhanced)”

Click “OK” and after that “Apply”. Close and reopen RPG Reports UI if still open and then you should be able to see the original overview.
Analysis
This procedure is working as well with all other applications, but it needs to be done with each application independently and each process if one application is called by another.
If you find that in Compatibility for all users the Compatibility mode has been ticked, it may assign Windows 8 compatibility – this may be a result of Windows detection – untick the compatibility option and select the DPI setting described above, and hopefully the program displays properly.
Cause
This issue is related to the screen resolution and application compatibility.
