Issue

Integrion experiencing a stopped system with error(s) populating related to the ASE 350

Environment

Resolution

Error Message: Operating error occurred

  • Check the display screen or Chromeleon software audit trail for error messages.
  • If a message is displayed, note the error number and refer to the ASE 350 Operating Guide.

Error Message: Method or sequence complete

  • Check the display screen or Chromeleon software audit trail for error messages.
  • If no messages are displayed, the Dionex ASE 350 probably stopped because the method or sequence was finished.
  • When running under method control, the Dionex ASE 350 runs samples sequentially until it reaches an empty cell or collection vessel position or, if the trays are full, until all samples have been run and the trays have returned to positions 1.
  • When running under sequence control, the Dionex ASE 350 runs according to each line defined in the sequence.
  • A sequence is complete when no more lines are defined or when one of these fields contains a zero: BTL/VIAL #, CELL #, or METHOD #.

Error Message: Electrical cables improperly installed

  • Open the door to the service area. Refer to Image 1. 
  • Rotate the three quarter turn screws along the edge of the door and swing the door open.
  • Check that all electrical cables are seated properly in the connectors on the printed circuit boards.
