Error 1172

Issue

The following error appears when submitting an instrument method in Tracefinder:

Environment

• LCMS
• TraceFinder

Resolution

If no error is seen using Xcalibur, TraceFinder Configuration should be checked.

Confirm that the Multichannelling option is selected under “optional features”. Select channels available. Please note
that “Intelligent sequencing” feature will not be available and that “Full sequence submission” will be automatically
selected.
