PSB-ICSP-1180-AS-AP Shipping Improvement

Description: 

The factory implemented a temporary shipping improvement for 20 AS-AP autosamplers to better protect the needle assembly during transportation. A newly designed shipping block replaced the J-clip tool above the vial pusher, raising both vial holder shafts. The J-clip tool, placed in a plastic bag, was taped to the front right side of the AS-AP autosampler.

Recommendations: 

The new shipping block is used only for AS-AP shipping; alignments should still be done using the J-clip tool.

FSEs are advised to remove the new shipping block and store it safely for future use. The J-clip tool can be found in the location below and should be used during the AS-AP installation. Store the J-clip tool safely once the installation is complete.
