The Dionex ERS 500e suppressor, designed for external water mode applications, differs from the standard ERS 500 by using parallel regenerant flow, resulting in lower back-pressure. Adjust regenerant pressure when switching suppressors. Compatible with Chemical Suppression Mode, but CRS 500 is recommended for higher capacity. Suitable for Recycled Eluent, MPIC, and Neutralization Modes, though ERS 500 is preferred for Recycled Eluent and Neutralization.

Description: 

The Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ ERS 500e Special Part is a variant of the Dionex ERS 500 suppressor optimized for external water mode applications. This suppressor is recommended for all applications where external water mode is employed, but in particular this suppressor is required when borate eluents or eluents containing organic solvents are used.
