• Eluent should be replaced at least once a week. The eluent reservoir should be rinsed 3-5 times with ASTM Type I water before filling with new eluent.
• If the eluent is manually prepared and kept under an inert gas blanket, the eluent should be replaced once a week. If no inert gas blanket is applied to the eluent reservoir to reduce carbonate absorption, the eluent should be replaced daily.
