Unable to control temperature 

Environment

Dionex ICS-4000 Capillary HPIC System

Resolution

  1. Verify that all installed temperature control devices are at their set temperatures and are stable.
  2. When the temperature zone is off, the background is red.
  3. When the temperature zone is on and the set temperature has not yet been reached, the background is amber.
  4. When the temperature zone is on and the set temperature has been reached, the background is green. Record any discrepancies.

Note: The temperature of the column heater must be set to at least 2 °C above the compartment temperature. The temperature of the CD cell heater must be set to at least 7 °C above the compartment temperature.

If this is good and there is an error message in the audit trail. Refer to the operator manual.
