Gas Usage

Gas usage in the Forma 1025 depends on daily entries through the Interchange compartment. The system maintains positive pressure to prevent room air leaks. Each cycle uses 2.24 cu. ft. of nitrogen and 1.12 cu. ft. of anaerobic gas. Some gas may be expelled during glove use. Despite being semipermeable, the cabinet is tested to minimize gas consumption. With five entries per day, the system uses about 77.2 cu. ft. of nitrogen and 67.2 cu. ft. of mixed gas weekly.
