Exhaust requirements

The exhaust requirements for ovens and furnaces vary based on the process or load. Generally, they do not need an exhaust installation unless fumes need filtering, which may require a fume hood. Air flow must be assessed locally, with ovens sometimes using internal fans. Maintain specific clearances for exhaust hood and tube installations. Built-in units require air exhaust systems and should be installed in non-combustible, well-ventilated spaces.
