Including an element for matrix correction but absent in quant data

Description: 

On occasion, an element is added to the sample, for example coating the sample with Au, and must be included in the matrix corrections, but not included in the Quant data.

Environment:

• Noran System 6
• Noran System 7

Resolution:

1. On the Element Setup tab, Lines Utilized group, in the Quant pull down menu select Absent.
2. The element will be included in the matrix correction but not included in the Quant results.
