Droplet Forming at the Tip of the Nebulizer

Environment

  • iCAP 6000 Series
  • iCAP 7000 Series
  • iCAP PRO

Resolution

  1. Remove the plastic spacer from the nebulizer and push the nebulizer fully into the spray chamber
  2. Flush the system for a couple of minutes with 10% Decon 90 solution or similar diluted detergent while plasma is on
  3. Flush system for a few minutes with DI water
  4. Remove nebulizer, install spacer and reinsert nebulizer fully into the spray chamber to the point where the spacer makes contact with the spray chamber.
