High Internal Standard Recovery

Resolution

Somehow purge flow got set to High. Once it was set back to Normal, the Internal Standard Recoveries came back down near 100%

Analysis

Internal Standard Recoveries are going to ~125% during calibration and stay there afterwards. Internal standard was doing its job as QC recoveries were within tolerance. Customer was concerned thought that Internal Standard recoveries were 125% This was a wear metal analysis application.
