This video illustrates the proportional relationship between the flow rate and the system pressure. The video also illustrates how to identify pump head components and these frequent pump-related issues: high pressure, low pressure, pressure fluctuation, and pump leaking. A resolution for each issue is demonstrated using appropriate techniques, including ultrasonicating the check valve, replacing the contaminated eluent filters and eluent tubing, and priming the pump.
