Issue

The signal intensity is weak.

Environment

Easy Spray Ion Spray Sources Models:

  • ES081
  • ES082

Resolution

  1. Verify that the EASY-Spray column is correctly positioned (that is, clicks on insertion).
  2. Check the LC method and MS tune method parameters.
  3. Run a known standard to check the sensitivity.
  4. Clean the ion transfer tube.

Cause

  • The parameters for the LC, MS, or both might need adjusting. 
  • The MS ion transfer tube is dirty.
