Error 1068

Issue

A Services dialogue appears with this message:

Windows could not start the Thermo Security Service on Local Computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service group failed to start.

Resolution

1. Instead of changing the service account for the Audit Log service using the services screen, use the database configuration utility. Restore the account for this service to the domain account and change it using the database configuration utility.

2. Customer's IT has disabled local account log ons.
