Unable to verify password
Network users may be unable to log into OMNIC or RESULT if local security policies do not grant them network access. Updating the "Access this computer from the network" policy resolves the issue.
Issue
When a network user with access to a specific PC attempts to log into Omnic or RESULT, this message is generated:
Unable to verify password. Login attempt unsuccessful or Password is incorrect

Resolution
Check Local Security Policies to confirm that all network users are able to access: If only Administrators are granted Access this computer from the Network, other users will be denied. The User or the Group the Users are in must be added to Access this computer from the Network Policy.
