Check iCAP 6000/7000 LED Status

Issue

When experiencing issues such as no communication and instrument can't be pinged, it is helpful to check the status of the LED's on the instrument control board in order to determine if there is an internal issue within the instrument which is causing the issue

Environment

  • iCAP 6000 Series
  • iCAP 7000 Series

Resolution

1) Locate the vertical array of LED’s on the back side of the right hand instrument cover

2) Check the status of the LED’s: 1 & 8 should be flashing and LED’s 3-7 should be solidly lit

If this is not how the LED's are responding, then most likely there is a hardware related issue with the instrument
